If you work in an office then look around for waste and recycling possibilities:

• do people print when they don’t need to?

• do you use disposable cups in the vending machines when you could use a mug?

• is everything photocopied, three times?

• Can your copier do double-sided?

• Do you use paper filing when you could use computer files?

• is the bin full of things that could realistically not be there?

• Do you use stapless staples

• Do you use biros when you could use pencils?

• Do you use recycled paper?

• Do people throw away a lot of plastic food containers, coffee cups, newspapers and other things they bring into work?

• Are print and toner cartridges recycled?

• Have you got a green office stationery catalogue?
