Use less soap powder and fabric conditioner , and make sure they are environmentally friendly, and alternate use of detergents with a product such as Eco-Balls which uses no detergents at all

If you need to dispose of a liquid, always check the bottle or tin carefully before simply pouring it down the drain. If the product is damaging to the environment take it to a suitable disposal site – your local council can assist with the disposal of more products than you would imagine.
