It is widely used in batteries, plastic products, and pigments, and is found in solder.
Inhalation results in chemical pneumonitis, pulmonary edema, and death.
Lead
Submitted by Alchemist on Wed, 13/02/2008 - 19:38.Lead is a soft, heavy, bluish-white metal with many uses due to its low corrosion rate. It is a neuro-toxin which accumulates in soft tissue and bones. It also caused blood and brain disorders.
