When choosing a souvenir of your trip choose carefully. If you choose something made from wood, coral, shell, or animal products such as skins or ivory you can be adding to the environmental damage caused by the manufacture of the souvenir.

Never take plants from one area to another as you may be introducing a species which will cause significant damage to the new environment. It may spread uncontrollably, contain insects or disease which damage the new habitat.

Take only photographs, leave only footprints.
