Genesis Perform at Live Earth then Fly to Manchester

Super-mega group and 70's rockers Genesis proved their green credentials by performing four songs at Live Earth at the new Wembley Stadium in London on 8th July 2007... then promptly FLEW up to Manchester to perform a concert that evening.
The Live Earth organisers promised to offset the entire event (did you know that as a rule of thumb 50% of the carbon footprint of a concert is generated by the audience travelling to the show?), but does it really set a good example to fly to Manchester, when it would in all probability be just as quick to take the train, when you take into account transfers to and from the airport?
